Cory L. Seylar, O.D.
Dr. Seylar graduated with his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2002 from the Ohio State College of Optometry. He was awarded the OSU Scholarship in Optometry for all 4 years he attended. Upon graduating, Dr. Seylar went on to complete his residency program at the Chillicothe V.A.M.C. where he gained extensive experience in hospital based optometry. There he was responsible for overseeing the fourth year optometry student externs.
Before graduating, Dr. Seylar had presented a case report at the EastWest Eye Conference to attending doctors and completed an externship seeing patients at a private practice in Circleville, OH. In addition, he served as a clinical instructor to second year students at the Ohio State College of Optometry while completing his residency.
Dr. Seylar has been a part of Ludwick Eye Center for over 10 years. He is enthusiastic about eye care and solving eye problems for patients so they can return to active life.
When not working in the clinic, Dr. Seylar likes to live a healthy lifestyle either by spending time at the gym or on the volleyball court competing in a local league. He also enjoys time with his family or watching his favorite baseball team, the Orioles.
