Ludwick Laser & Surgery Center
The success of our surgical team is our dedication to a patient-centered approach while providing surgical care. We strive to maintain open lines of communication with the patient and family prior to and throughout the procedure. Once the patient arrives in the center, our top priority is patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process. Our surgery team includes nursing, surgical technicians and clerical positions. Each role is comprised of different tasks.
Instrument and scrub technicians are involved with direct surgical care of a patient. Assisting the surgeon, cleaning, disinfecting and sterilization of instrumentation, and preparing and stocking the surgical suite are functions of the instrument tech and scrub personnel.
Nursing staff is responsible for patient assessment and evaluation, pre, intra and post-op care of surgical patients, administering medications, and patient communication/instruction.
The receptionist at Ludwick Laser and Surgery Center is responsible for greeting patients, checking patients in and out, collecting payments, answering phones and entering information into electronic medical records.
As we stay on the cutting edge of the most state-of-the-art surgical services for patients in the tri-state area, we need a team player who values the importance of patient satisfaction, efficiency and quality care.
Hours can range from 24-40 hours/week depending on surgical volume. Flexible hours are a must as staffing can run from 6:00 am to 5:30 pm.
